Monthly Events

NFAA Indoor 300 Round

When: First and third Fridays of each month. First arrow is at 7:45 pm.

What: NFAA 300 round; 12 ends, 5 arrows each end. 5-4-3-2-1 scoring. A minimum of 3 archers is necessary for the shoot to be official

Cost: $1 for club members; $3 for guests.


NFAA Indoor 450 Round

When: Second and fourth Fridays of each month. First arrow is at 7:45.

What: Vegas-style 450 round; 15 ends, 3 arrows each end. 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 scoring. A minimum of 3 archers is necessary for the shoot to be official

Cost: $1 for club members; $3 for guests.


Outdoor SCA Club Shoot

When: Second Saturday of each month. Rolling start. Each shooting group must have a minimum of 3 archers to be official.

What: NFAA field round. 28 targets, 14 field and 14 hunter targets on the outdoor range; 4 arrows per target. 5-4-3 scoring.

Cost: $3 for club members; $5 for non-members


Critter Gitter

When: Last Saturday of each month. First arrow at 9:00 am on the outdoor range.

What: Traditional style archery shoot (no compounds, no sights). Archers shoot at small 3D targets. 14-16 targets per shoot. Target placement and shooting positions are improvised for each target by the shooters in the group. Attempt up to 3 arrows per target. Tokens are awarded to club members for hitting a target (limit 1 token per target). There is a small BBQ after the shoot. This is among our most popular and fun shoots.

Cost: Suggested donation: $3 for club members; $5 for non-members


Shared adventures

When: Third Saturday of each month, from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm in the indoor range.

Santa Cruz Archers hosts Shared Adventures inside the clubhouse from 10:00am-12:00pm on the third Saturday of each month. Club volunteers help teach people with disabilities how to shoot archery.

Beginning Archery Group Class

When: Third Saturday of each month, from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm in the indoor range.

These group lessons are taught by certified archery instructors who are club members. If you are interested, please contact santacruzarchers68@gmail.com or santacruzarchers@comcast.net, to get more information about the class and/or to sign up for the class.

Cost: 35.00 per person
